  1. Saint Lawrence was the 'Saint of Prostitutes " Stockbridge Connecticut Tribal leader's children were converted by Protestants, resulting in a despute between Mohawk war chief Joseph Brandt first Anglican convert ,and my relative (7 generations) chief GoodPeter first Presbyterian convert, and Last chief of the 6 Nations but a Sachem ,raising the brit flag over the old french fort in Oquaga ,Washington had Butler to burn it all. Susquehanna water over the 'damned' Saint Lawrence river had " native converts" wearing roseries. My other and female indigenous relative was Tuscarora instead of GoodPeters Onieda. Cimerons ( servants) were Spain's tribal cannon Christians clearing seaside Tuscarora in 1511. An O(15)K(11) for me =the year Martin Luther was made HEAD of THEOLOGY in WITTINBERG 😢

  2. Thinking about the roman spongestick. I believe they had running water in their toilet facilities and a slave ( unfortunately), who washed the sponge after every individual use and of course they had soap. Additional natural materials do not grow funghy/ bacteria like our plastic materials today. Many plastic dishcloths for example are very unhygenic, because bacteria grow on them.
Wooden cuttingboards and cotton washcloth have self desinfecting abilities, and are environmentally friendly.
So, washing ones behind with water after using the toilet is so much cleaner than just wiping with a dry paper or a sticky, soapy, smelly piece of plastic cloth.
I am not an hygienic expert, nor is english my first language, hope I brought my point across.
I am interested what you all think.
    Greetings from Vienna

By the way, roman me would ty my own sponge to my belt ready to use.
