You must have a cast iron stomach to eat that much jalapenos. And to handle them that much. I refuse to handle them, I'll only use milder roasted peppers for flavor. That one was a no thanks, but I could try it without jalapenos. But I never buy packages of hash browns or tater tots anyway.

Cutting the large potatoes in half before baking is the way Croatians like to bake them. This was taught to my Mother by her Mother. Both of her parents came from Croatia. I’m the eighth of twelve children and we all cook them cut in half…except for one detail. Don’t put the cut side down. Place them on the baking sheet cut side up and salt the top of the raw potatoes generously. the salt helps to creates a beautiful golden brown top. Then cut a slit just under the skin top and slide your knife into the top and separate the browned top from the entire potato making a pouch. Fill the pouch with butter and sour cream. The baked top will be salty enough. ENJOY!
I have kidney disease and my nephrologist said no potatoes! Too high in potassium. 💔
You need to add some salt and it will remove the rust.
Sprinkle cheese under flat side of potato and bake for crispy cheesy potato
I think you need salt on the potato as the abrasive and oil, there is a little more to the process than just half a spud:)
I thought the potato skin was where the pesticides build up. I try not to eat the skins.
