Turtles bite you and never let go. Make sure your food. Especially meat are fully cooked for steamboat. Someone kept eating almost cooked meat and was wondering why he kept getting upset stomach after.

Unreal value for fresh seafood so far from the coast—China’s infrastructure really nails that freshness.
If you ever swing back to Sichuan, hop a 1.5-hour high-speed train to Mount Emei and Leshan for next-level flavors. In Emei, don’t miss the silky tofu brain—topped with crispy pork in savory broth. Over in Leshan, Qiaojiao Beef is a must: it’s an intangible cultural heritage dish, with a clear, herb-infused broth, and the name comes from locals propping their feet while waiting for seats! Wash it all down with Emei Snow lychee soda to cool the spice.
