Especially The potato candy
Most of these recipes are still being used…
I'm not a sweet eater, but I made the potato candy once and it was too sweet for me. I make potato chips. That's my go to.
I’m making potato soup right now & some potato candy. Both are favorites from my childhood.
My family is making 1/2lb of hamburger feed 4. Stew meat this morning is $10.99 lb! So much for that vegetable beef soup we've been craving!

Bring on the soup😊😊😊😊😊
My grandma taught me how to use up leftover mashed potatoes by adding flour, rolling the mixture out thin, and dry frying it. She called it "patiskaker" which is potato cake in Norwegian. Slathering butter on the flat pancake like cake, rolling it up, is so delicious. Can be stored in the fridge. She also added jam sometimes.
