I hv yet to run into a muslim Indonesian restaurant operator. Most Indonesian Malaysian cuisines here in CA are run and Chinese owned. But if you see the street food operators in Msia and Indonesia, majority are Muslim ppl. Not many hv the chance of going and living abroad. So we are missing a big chunk of the authentic street food taste. Only the Filipino cuisine tastes the same abroad and locally.
