The Chinese People’s Liberation Army is at it again with yet another unusual MRE that is actually worth checking out and noting as an improvement to the older PLA field rations. It’s a well balanced meal and albeit not perfectly palatable, I would still say it’s serviceable enough for war.

This is because each company has its own cooking team.Furthermore, the so-called Chinese individual combat rations you can buy are basically made by private companies and are not used by the People's Liberation Army, because the Chinese military does not allow commercial activities and there are strict restrictions on them.😂
