  1. Wow. I was raised by my grandparents on a full working farm. I was born in 1969. we raised all of our own beef, pork, poultry and milking cows.
    We milked our cows, had fresh milk, buttermilk and butter. We sold all of it to our neighbors. We also raised our own vegetables and produced our own animal food. The only thing we bought from the grocery store was some seasonings, flour, corn meal, and sugars. Oh how I miss those times, my family and that great ol homemade cooking. Life's only downhill from here sadly to say.
