  1. I think many people are missing the point. Hamburgers price has gone up, but is still less expensive than cuts of meat. Hamburger also can be disbursed in lower cost ingredients so that the over all cost of each serving is lower, but still has some meat flavor.

  2. Its just ground beef, onions, rice and beef broth with butter, but its a favorite from my childhood. I brown my meat and onions, and then add a cup of long grain rice, butter, and use beef broth for the rice water. I use a cast iron skillet so i can transfer to the oven. Some broccoli, greeen beens are good with it, but my go to is canned drained spinch with butter and S&P. If i have it, i really prefer creamed spinach from fresh. ❤

This is really an old appetizer but we love it so fix it whenever the craving hits. You can make homestyle meatballs (not Italian) or buy frozen, but throughin a crock pot or IP on low saute or slow cook setting, and add one can of cranberry sauce, the smooth one, not the chutney, although eith might work, one bottle of Heinz Chili sauce found next to ketchup, you can add a little brown sugar if you like and season to taste, i would recommend doing ao after. Then serve on Hawaiian rolls or rolls of choice with Muenster or swiss cheese. Awesomeness.
