I too live in Southeast Texas and bought a brand new hand mixer and it absolutely burned up trying to mix divinity. It never would set. I used it as a cake icing and sprinkled chopped pecans over it lol😅

OMGosh, Catherine, that platter of Divinity was so pretty. I've never made Divinity before. I think I've only actually eaten it once and that was years ago. You look just like your mother. What a kind lady.
