Im aleays suprised how so many people diss "drugstore" brands in the US for being a "drugstore brand" yet pay outrageous amounts for drugstore brands from other countries. Don't they realize they are pricy here because they are imported?
I switched to using S.Nature during the day and Beekman during the evening for moisturizing. My skin has improved incredibly over the past 3 months. I have combination skin and cystic acne. I have been happily surprised by how well these products work with my prescriptions from my dermatologist. I had problems with moisturizers making my skin feel like it’s burning especially when used with Retin-A. So I highly approve of recommendations from James Welsh and trust this channel much more now.
Thank you so much for listening to us and changing your format to keep the image of the product on the screen as you talk about it. My tired, neurodivergent brain thanks you 👏
Soon jung barrier cream is better replacement to cicaplast
Arencia rice mucin is an amazing serum with lifting effect and amazing glow – better replacement to snail mucin
From someone with dry dry skin, the LRP ciaplast is not for dry skin – it's super drying. I cannot sub this for a moisturiser.
I never fell for those 3 sprays because of the alcohol content, the only time my skin backfired so bad was with those oldschool toners made with alcohol.
When I used S.Nature cream, it did nothing for me, but I have drier skin than you. I found that it didn’t hydrate and there was no noticeable moisture in it. It’s a little bit like a cheep pharmacy cream and I wouldn’t buy it again. So if you have skin similar to James you might like it but don’t bother if you have skin that needs more nourishing.
I’m sticking with my beloved cosrx snail mucin. I trust them with the happiness and safety of the snails in their care, and the product itself is literally magic.
Thanks for the great video. I’m interested in trying several of these products.
I spent so much money on this claudelie elixir spray to treat myself, but I'm convinced tonight that it's breaking me out. Big time. Its doing the opposite of elixing my beauty 🥲
@JamesWelsh I've been watching some of your videos lately and wanted to thank you for your section on Cicaplast – in a backwards way it influenced me into trying it because I was having a flare up of eczema at the base of my neck and under my hair (I'm used to eczema, but under my hair was new and annoying to treat!), and nothing was working well enough to actually clear it up. Watched your video, bought the Cicaplast Baume to try, and my skin is so much better 4 days later. Truly worked wonders, so thanks for spreading the word that it's really more for skin issues like mine haha!
