Also do not forget to fully commit to the trick, doing it with full confidence gives the possibility to properly slide and let the board level up.
When preparing for the Ollie, the weight should be put towards the tail instead to ensure a strong pop.
The shoulder part is very important for handling the direction 🙂
i havent tried skating in like almost 10 years and i just realized that why my ollies were never that good was because i never raised my back leg

Funny enough, my Ollies gotten a hell of a lot easier once I started popping at an angle, aiming not for a 45° but maybe 30°, this made the board go right to my feet and being able to catch it which I was having so much trouble with. Of course, this doesn't really work if you're standing still tho.
