In Singapore, it’s hardly business as usual. Startups are pushing the boundaries of technology to improve the quality of life for everyone. Join us as we visit five companies making everything from sponges that can soak up oil spills in the ocean, to robotic hands for people with neurological disorders, to laser communication devices designed to bring the internet to everyone: https://bit.ly/33EFDRo

I got a feeling these Centauri ones laser will get stolen as soon as they are mounted
I am sorry to throw you some cold water, but the internet router one is probably just wasting their time. Starlink is pretty much doing that and no one need to buy or mount any device. Even the most remote and in the middle of the sea you will get internet…
By direct experience, a deceiving "ad, video, product placement" of a place where innovation it's mostly (if not only) profit-driven rather than value-driven.
that mosquito can be danger. carrying disease mutaion, don't ever develop again
Singapore government advertisement. I wonder how much they paid. Singapore is more famous for its lack of innovation.
Actually, these innovations are outstanding! especially for the last one because here in Indonesia, infrastructure is the obstacle to equal internet connection in many areas
I, as a singaporean, thought only about that scene from pirates of the Caribbean where the guy goes “welcome to Singapore” during this entire video.
Much like the recent debate about how one of Singapore's biggest banks did not hire a local talent to head it, these "Singapore" startups do not seem to have locals representing them too.
Vamos para Singapur
I saw that roof to roof laser technology being used 40 years ago. I think they were using infrared.
