Off topic rant: I’m in shambles right now with my trading. I lose every single trade possible. I’m down to my last $800 in my stock accnt after just experiencing yet another loss this morning. 1 month ago everything was great. I built my account up to 18k from 4k and I was pulling money out, paying bills, making my wife think I was getting rich as every other day I’d say “I made 1k today”. “Oh good job hunny”.
It all started when I bought the tailed off netflix earnings crash and my account tanked by half. Then a few small bad moves go by and then recently I did it again by buying META earnings crash at the end of it but the tail end still pummeled my account. I just had another loss that took me from $1800 down to $800 today and now I’m sitting here worrying about money when 4 weeks ago I was flying high and was loaded with money. I have a good savings but I refuse to use any of my savings to fund my trading. I cannot afford to lose any of my savings as it’s the only thing that makes me feel like I have security.
I feel like the more you lose the more impulsive you become. You stop thinking clearly. You just start buying garbage hoping to 1x or 3x.
I’m frustrated that I won 95% of my trades for a month followed by losing 95 % of my trades for a month.
