  1. I don’t think it very fair to say these people died this year and no one noticed..as I certainly did, from my generation…! As will keep happening and always has., as soon as actors and actresses retire or are no longer on our screens. Their places are soon filled by new
Up and coming ones..like a conveyor belt they keep moving and falling off! It’s the nature of things unfortunately. My generation of course remember the gorgeous Dr Kildare, Richard Chamberlain, and was sad to learn he had passed, but he lived a long life! Every day now it seems we lose not one but two or three people we have got used to watching, only for them to pass from an illness we sadly didn’t know they had, or another cardiac arrest death. We have such a huge rota of actors and actresses appearing in various soaps, or other films now, it’s so hard to keep up. Joan Plowrightwas a wonderful actress going back years..very pretty when younger and still attractive when older..caused more interest when she married Sir Lawrence Olivier, previously married to Gone with the wind star Vivienne Leigh….but I bet if you ask a selection of youngsters if they know who she was, I doubt they will. As I said at the beginning, it’s a generation thing!
People used to watch the silent films in black and white with Mary Pickford, Charlie Chaplin, the three Stooges, and The Marx brothers!
Can YOU recall them? I’m sorry so many brilliant stars are leaving the stage, but ask them to go to the light! Where another stage
Awaits them! And thank them all for all the laughter and pleasure they gave us during their brilliant Careers! God Bless Them All! 💐🙏🕊️
