Gonna try these
SOS…. shit on a shingle 😂. Hate the name but actually pretty good.
Never heard of pea and peanut salad. Pea salad for us is peas, cheese, hard boiled egg, onion and mayo.
Why are they showing Middle East people dipping bread in food?
My dad, a WWII veteran, told me what SOS means. Hilarious!
My dad was an army cook during World War II. SOS was hamburger meat in white gravy served over toast, not chipped. Beef. He talked about this and made it for our family of 5 kids many mornings for breakfast. I was born in December of 1950, so I grew up on most of these dishes.
oh. You mean scone dough. Calling scones, biscuits is so annoying I have to stop watching.
My dad made SOS with ground beef. He sauteed the beef with garlic and onions ,splash of Worcestershire ,a bit of salt, pepper and can of Campbell's cream of mushroom soup, with some milk..then served over buttered toasted bread, or roasted potatoes . I still make it but without the cream of mushroom Campbell's soup, I make Roux with fresh mushrooms, cream then add to the sauteed beef . I still crave it for breakfast. This was the first meal my dad ever made me so I have very nostalgic feelings about it 😊
Then is when people become lazy in cooking the scum of the earth
Hamburger is almost $6.00 a lb. Be nice if they quit raising prices. Hardly any people can afford to eat.
