What is this ladies name??
The pumpkin dump cake was a total disaster. I’ll never cook with pumpkin for the rest of my life.
Dont like links or ads on your screen. I cant see recipe amounts. FYI
Nicole McLaughlin-girl I just adore you. I cannot tell you the times my mother made this exact Thanksgiving meal-minus the appetizer and cocktail-and plus a store bought Marie Calendars pumpkin pie or pecan pie and some sort of store bough fruit pie with ice cream.
No potatoes!!!
No Jiffy for us. Martha White Buttermilk Cornbread Mix please!
I’m in Tennessee, not that far……what time is dinner?
My favorite cook❤
I was wondering about a pumpkin dump cake! Thank you! A dear friend loves pumpkin and we get together once a month for dinner and UNO. Easy and delish. Nicole goes out of her way to keep her recipes and kitchen tools mainstream, but I have a butter cutting gadget that perfectly slices a stick of cold butter. I used 24 slices (4×6) on a dump cake -first time ever making one (my own inspiration of an upside down pineapple upside down cake 😂). I think I only needed 4 or 6 extra slices from that second stick and my need for symmetry was satisfied. On that pineapple filling, I used 2 cans crushed pineapple and one can of chunks (didn’t need), brown sugar, cornstarch, a little lemon juice, and dotted maraschino cherries throughout. Yellow butter cake mix and butter pats,on top. It was amazing. It was like having my two favorites – pineapple pie and pineapple upside down cake. I share Nicole’s reels with my whole family. They are so fun and upbeat. You know it’s really good when she hits the counter. What a treasure.
This is SO perfect for a beginner, or first to host, or really for anyone that wants to eat a good thanksgiving meal. I mean who isn't cooking on the cheap these days? This is such a great menu, that looks, and likely tastes delicious!
