Lots of clay around here. I've seen construction sites where you could see a layer of clay a couple of feet thick. Some gray layers but mostly red. I've always wondered if you could use it like clay or if it would need to be processed somehow. Sounds like it might just need some sand. Would be cool to try but I don't have a kiln or access to one.
Sat watching this with my six year old and we both found your video very interesting. I guess I now have to take her clay hunting 😅
Add 20% grog by weight or by volume?
If the clay is wet then 20% by weight is a lot more grog.
