I did exactly what you said with the bachamel but it’s taking forever to thicken!
I disagree with the choice to use Béchamel sauce. I can never get it thick enough and my lasagna ends up too runny. I never tried a combination of béchamel and a ricotta mixture, that is worth testing.
A metal masher on a ceramic dutch oven, DO NOT DO THIS! You will scratch the enamel away and ruin the pot.
No Just – No.
Meatballs in a lasagna 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Adding oil to water does absolutely nothing either same as when boiling pasta..
Big tip, dont pre-soak the oven-ready pasta unless you have it timed perfectly or know what you're doing. The risk vs reward ratio and/or effort required is not even close to worth it. I ruined a whole box of lasagna sheets with a easy to replicate miss-timing. If you're worried about the oven-ready sheets not cooking all the way, you shouldn't be. You can skip the pre-soak step eliminating any potential disaster scenario. You don't need any oil on the oven-ready sheets anyways but you COULD do a light brushing to create a barrier if you wanted them to not soak up as much liquid, but thats not needed either. And im not even kidding when I think this comment should be sticky'd at the top.
Carrot, butter? au sec? so many Italians died
If italians see this vid they will get a stroke from how unauthentic this is xd
