Karthigai Pori :
Puffed beaten rice (Aval Pori) – 4 cups
Roasted gram – 1/2 cup
Chopped coconut – 1/2 cup
Powdered jaggery – 1 cup
Dry ginger powder – 1/2 tsp
Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
Kaara Appam :
Par boiled rice – 1 glass
Raw rice – 1 glass
Urad dal – 1/2 glass
Channa dal – 2 tbsp
Dried red chilli – 6 nos
Green chilli – 2 nos
Grated coconut – 2 tbsp
Chopped curry leaves – few
Asafoetida powder – 1/2 tsp
Salt – required
Potukadalai Sweet :
Roasted gram – 1 cup
Powdered jaggery – 1 & 1/4 cup
Oil – 2 tbsp
Ghee – 5 tbsp
Cardamom powder – 1/4 tsp
Rava Modagam :
Ghee – 3 tbsp
Sooji / Semolina – 1 cup
Dessicated coconut – 1/4 cup
Powdered Sugar – 3/4 cup
Cardamom powder – 1/4 tsp
Salt – 2 pinches
Warm milk – 3 tbsp
Thinai Payasam :
Foxtail millet – 1/4 cup
Grated coconut – 1/2 cup
Powdered jaggery – 1 cup
