Sons of Anarchy (abbreviated SOA) is an American television series created by Kurt Sutter that aired on the FX network from 2008 to 2014. The series revolves around a renegade motorcycle club operating in the fictional town of Charming.
A spin-off of the series, Mayan Motorcycle Club, aired on the FX network from 2018 to 2023.

The series is about a motorcycle gang in the fictional town of Charming, near Stockton, California. The gang is called the “Sons of Anarchy” and they are in the business of smuggling guns. The story of the series is about a group of dangerous and criminal American gangsters and outlaws who spend their lives doing wrong things but sometimes participate in good deeds as a community. They also earn their living by smuggling guns and a general repair shop where they repair cars. This group consists of men and women who constantly go from place to place on their motorcycles. Running a porn studio and causing fights and trouble is the daily concern and entertainment of most of these lawless people. They clash with people, police forces and sheriffs every day and try to force their way into power. In this situation, anyone who does not give in to their demands must enter into a dispute with this powerful gang; in the meantime, this gang naturally causes a lot of damage to itself with its evil desires.
Throughout this series, we see many types of human relationships that constantly prove to us how the type of relationships we have with others affect our lives and those around us, or how the good and bad of our behavior in relation to others returns to ourselves.

Season 1 (2008)
The story begins with the destruction of the warehouse the club used to store weapons. This warehouse, their main source of income, is blown up by their rival club. Shortly after, Jax’s pregnant ex-wife overdoses and their son Abel is born ten weeks early by cesarean section. Jax finds his father’s diary in a warehouse while searching through old baby clothes. Jax’s father, John Teller, was a co-founder of Sam Crew, and the diary details the club’s struggles and hopes for it. Jax’s mother, Gemma Teller-Morrow, is the wife of current Sam Crew leader Kay Morrow. Jax’s best friend, Opie, has recently been released from prison, having been incarcerated for his involvement with the club. In the first season, Jax tries to reconcile the events happening at the club with what is written in his father’s notebook, Opie tries to become less involved in the club’s affairs, and local and federal police forces are trying to shut down Sam Crew.
