Sambar Masala Recipe (150 Gm)

Chana Dal-2 Tbsp (30 gm)
Udad Dal-2 Tbsp (30 gm)
Coriander seeds- 5 Tbsp (30 gm)
Black pepper -1 Tbsp (10 gm)
Sesame Seeds- 1 & 1/2 Tbsp (20 gm)
Cumin seeds – 1 Tbsp (10 gm)
Fenugreek seed – 1 Tsp (4 to 5 gm)
Bedgi Chilli Dry – 20 to 25 number (25 gm)
Curry Leaves- 10 gm

3 Liter Udupi Sambar Recipe

Toor Dal- 250 gm
Refined Oil or coconut oil – 6 Tbsp

Masala Paste-
fresh coconut- 1/2 (80 gm)
Freshly made sambar masala- 7 Tbsp (75 gm)
Water- 1 katori

Red chilli powder- 1 Tbsp
Salt- 1 & 1/2 tbsp

Vegetables-
Carrots- 2
Drumsticks- 3
Red Pumpkin -250 gm
Doodhi- 250 gm
Tomato -3
Tamarind -25 gm
Jaggery- 75 gm
Water used- Total 2.5 to 3 liters

Tadka
Coconut Oil- 2 Tbsp
Mustard seeds- 1 & 1/2 Tsp
Udad dal- 1 Tbsp
Dry Red Chilli- 7 to8
Curry Leaves- 15 to 20
Hing -1 Tsp

1.5 Liter Udupi Sambar Recipe

Toor Dal- 125 gm
Refined Oil or coconut oil – 3Tbsp

Masala Paste-
fresh coconut- 1/4th (40 gm)
Freshly made sambar masala- 3 & 1/2 Tbsp (40 gm)
Water- 1 katori

Red chilli powder- 1/2 Tbsp
Salt- 13/4 th Tbsp

Vegetables-
Carrots- 1
Drumsticks- 2
Red Pumpkin -150gm
Doodhi- 100 gm
Tomato -2
Tamarind -12 gm
Jaggery- 40 gm
Water used- Total 1.5 liters

Tadka
Coconut Oil- 1 Tbsp
Mustard seeds- 1 Tsp
Udad dal- 1/2 Tbsp
Dry Red Chilli- 3 to 4
