In our new episode, we visited Narsobachi Wadi in Kolhapur, Kurundwad. We also explored the nearby Dutta Mandir in preparation for the upcoming Dutta Jayanti festival. Additionally, we covered several nearby food spots. Let’s see which one earns the highest golden thumbs-up.

Location 1: Narsoba Mandir
We began at the well-loved Narsoba Mandir, a riverside temple where the bells sound more like gentle reminders. It’s a steady anchor for the village and a favourite for anyone drawn to Maharashtra temple tours or Kolhapur travel.

Location 2: Breakfast at Nagarpalika Lane
Just opposite Federal Bank, a small stall served us Misal Pav (₹55), Masala Wada, and Dahi Vada (₹60). Simple, quick, and honest food is the kind that makes Maharashtra food tours worth it.

Location 3: 107-Year-Old Wada & Hidden Dutta Mandir
A short walk took us to a 107-year-old wada, its age visible but dignified. Tucked behind it was a tiny Dutta Mandir, easy to miss but deeply local.

Location 4: Avdhut Pedha
We paused for the popular Avdhut Pedha (₹520/kg) a small shop, a familiar aroma, and a must-buy for anyone exploring Maharashtra food trails.

Location 5: Guruprasad Basundi
At Guruprasad, Basundi simmered slowly on a wood stove. No rush, just patient cooking that turns milk into something rich and memorable.

Location 6: Special Bhel
Before leaving, we grabbed a Special Bhel (₹40) light, tangy, and the perfect quiet ending.

A simple walk, a river, a few flavours, and gentle silences Narsobachi Wadi stays with you long after. A small story among the many hidden gems in Maharashtra, and one that asks only for a little pause to feel complete.
