I went to The Montagu Pyke, one of London’s most famous JD Wetherspoon pubs — once the legendary Marquee Club, where bands like The Who, Bowie, and Metallica played.
I expected basic pub grub… but I was shocked.
For under £12 including a drink, I tried the American Burger with Guinness and the Spice Bag Chicken with Corona — and honestly, the food was way better than I imagined.

I love their chicken tikka masala, it's different from anyone else's and I love it!
Never heard of splitting the 'G'. Re the food/burger, a smidge of garnish wouldn't have gone amiss. But for the price, maybe a bit nitpicky 🙂
PS, re the condiments, I think they have a central stash, and you help yourself.
