Im 55 and reasonably good st this digital stuff. Far from great but i can often work things out. But i have to trust the phone sales people and or my middle kid. I can't face learning what the specs mean.
Not just a marketing trick, I had a professor in law school teach us a similar concept. The grandma we used to evaluate whether something was in “plain language” versus legal jargon wasn’t intoxicated, though. But still, it’s a great tool for public facing works!

Or even grandma at all. This is exactly what I told all the web devs I worked with! If your grandma cannot figure out how to buy this product, fix it.
