"sign-up for my masterclass for $30/mo and you'd save a fortune by not starting any business".
if you knew how to make money you wouldn't be begging for $30/mo on youtube
Agreeing with everything here might reveal a lack of strategy. Strategy is the backbone of execution. With the right strategies, you can pull off some of these "bad ideas."
What are your thoughts on one time sales? For example making a video game
let me buld what i want man . listening to you did not help
No ad-supported models, percentage-based revenue, or creating entirely new categories…. in otherwords don't do a startup. This is essentially all your options except for direct sale to the public or direct to businesses of tried and true products. This isn't a startup, it's a normal business. Don't develop anything, just sell off the shelf items or common services and compete in crowded market spaces.
AI models fall under VC scale. But requires it's own distinction.
I love this channel! You are so great at explaining complex ideas.
Ups, It seems i'm fuck acoording you. I'm on the way of building two sides marketplaces jeje. What are your thoughts and hacks on the chiken and the egg issue?
Just closed down a two-sided marketplace business that took a percentage of GMV. It was growing at a healthy rate, but it was gonna take forever to become profitable. In the meantime, I was feeding the alligator.
that makes sense to me… thanks for sharing your point-of-view!
it'd be good some examples on "new categories".
