This would be a good one for “make o et” I’ve watched you for years but you at coming across intoxicated or over medicated😢
Basically, just a sunscreen + topical retinoid and you're golden.
My added notes:
Let Sunscreen + Retinoid be your foundation. No heavily marketed fancy "hydrating" serums/toners essences, I might get backlash for that (sorry). Use if it makes you feel good definitely but just be aware of what it's really giving you.
Consistency is key.
Save on cleansers/moisturizers and even in high-end sunscreens. Even high-end ones aren't perfect so may as well save. Spend on treatments (high quality retinoid or even better, a prescription retinoid/Skinceuticals C E Ferulic). Personally, for me I found prescription tretinoin more tolerant than over the counter retinol as it contains significantly less ingredients.
Embed a product that has 5% niacinamide (5% minimum has been clinically proven to be most effective for anti-aging. Don't need to go above this and doing so can increase irritation).
Less is more. Listen to your skin, scale back when needed to avoid irritation where possible (prevention is key. Be always one step ahead.)
