The Kingdom of Lithuania, founded by German Empire during the First World War, had a chance to become great again.
Wilhelm Karl von Urach was elected by the Lithuanian nobility as the new king Mindaugas II. However, the German aristocracy did not want his coronation, so this event never took place and Lithuania became a republic after the end of the Great War.

This wouldn’t happen for one simple reason, see, there were next to no Lithuanians in that region, the polls would not allow it, with over 10 times the population and economy, they would crush the Lithuanian state and annex all non Lithuanian lands, the Lithuanians wouldn’t agree to annex Prussia, since they would fear getting subjegated by the larger German population and ruling class
