I don't work in fast food but this past year we've had…quite the experience with a customer and them leaving…reviews. Our distristic managers reeeeeeally implore us to be very customer friendly. Which ya know, can be good and it does bring back regulars. BUT….it also…blurs the line sometimes. Anyway, long story short, customer confused polite customer service as flirtation. Like to the point she was using the work phone to talk(and BOY could she talk) to first her crush and then. She wouldn't even talk about the stuff we sold, and at some point we HAD to be a smidge rude bc actual customers were lining up and calling, but then she'd call back and if it happened like twice, she'd just come to the store and like…try to hold out attention….while we were working. And when it finally clicked to her that nothing romantic would come from the politeness she got mad and left in total like….3 bad reviews that were paragraphs long, called corporate, and even the police.
