Every week there’s a “revolutionary” new AI startup solving problems nobody ever had — and somehow, they all got VC funding. From “AI interviewers” that rank your vocabulary like a middle school spelling bee, to AI “career coaches” that literally just paste your resume into ChatGPT and read it back to you with a British accent — we’ve officially hit peak parody.
In this video, I break down the most ridiculous “AI innovation” of them all — including the company that built a floating interview orb, the one that uses ChatGPT as your fake coworker, and the one that thinks working through your wife’s childbirth is peak company culture. Because apparently, this is the new “AI mentality.”

The AI hype mania explosion..
Lazy HR: We trust AI
Some of these companies act like their the ones that built the AI model…yet they used ChatGPT API and just gave it a simple UI. MOFOs ain't innovating or solving problems. They're jumping on a bandwagon not knowing where it goes. Most of them will go nowhere. Solutionism at its worst.
Does anyone remember "We put a chip in it" Tumblr? It had a self-explaining tagline: "It was a dumb thing. We put a chip in it. Now it's a smart thing." They collected things like internet enabled cat fountains and smart forks.
Can we talk about these AI attendents? I have to call a lot of companies with my job so I interact with them a lot. I had a few that sound like they were currently high on herion and had super loud roller-coaster tycoon guest audio on repeat in the background. Wtf! That's what they want? Yeah, you will taco bell AI energy most of the time but I have been getting more of these strung out AIs Are they burnt out too? It's bizarre. I'm not worried about AI anytime soon or ever. If the actual industrial robots couldn't replace us I doubt these will. Plus, we still have all these visa workers, illegals. Doesnt seem like the AI take over is going as planned.
Too many solutions for a non-existing problem, that's a fact.
