AI Startups NOBODY asked for are EVERYWHERE!

Every week there’s a “revolutionary” new AI startup solving problems nobody ever had — and somehow, they all got VC funding. From “AI interviewers” that rank your vocabulary like a middle school spelling bee, to AI “career coaches” that literally just paste your resume into ChatGPT and read it back to you with a British accent — we’ve officially hit peak parody.

In this video, I break down the most ridiculous “AI innovation” of them all — including the company that built a floating interview orb, the one that uses ChatGPT as your fake coworker, and the one that thinks working through your wife’s childbirth is peak company culture. Because apparently, this is the new “AI mentality.”

  1. People need to be told what to do. They cant come up with strategic ways to ask chatgpt to do what these wrappers make easy to do. Wrappers think for them and they make shortcut buttons. People are like wow i didnt think of that

  2. When I was still looking for work, I had an interview scheduled with Checkers(I needed work that bad at the time) which was scheduled through automated text messaging. I got there and a worker told me the manager is not in and isn't even there on those days or times. The text message wouldn't even notify the manager that there was an interview…just the candidate(myself). It just tells the candidate there is an interview so by chance an interview may just magically happen if the candidate just shows up unexpectedly. So, if those days and times does not match the available days and times the manager has or is even aware of, then why was not ALL time slots available to begin with? That just being one of the many questions this incident along with many similar incidents has arisen. Like if the candidate knows about the interview, but the manager who is supposed to conduct the interview does not know about the upcoming interview, then why can't it just be a walk-in interview. It seems to make the texting and scheduling nonsensical.
