12:26 I disagree, I think the tension between the haves and the have nots is every bit as powerful now as it was then, but what I see you explaining is a loss of the tools the common man had at his disposal to resist. The writers strike, the country can still go on. The autoworkers strike, and everyone else who isn’t an autoworker still goes to work, does their job.
These guys in your video, they shut down the Chicago rail lines, the country grinds to a halt.
What do we have analogous to that today? I can’t picture every air traffic controller going on strike…that would be significant, surely… but it doesn’t feel within our grasp anymore.
Yes lot alike. They learned how to work smarter.
Jerrys is amazing!
Are you from ct?
When they say “make America great again”, they don’t mean the 1950s.
When you're talking about economics but you didn't adjust for inflation…
Im currently learning of the gilded age, funny how this shows up
Zuck was full of s**t. Facebook never even had fact checkers.
I cant believe you are giving any credit to the federal reserve! You clearly have a very shallow understanding of finance and world history
The federal reserve is a modern day coin clipping scheme. Usury is a sin and should be outlawed
