he was cooperating with the police and surrendering, the security guard might have done his job but either way he’s still wrong because unless he shoots the guy while he’s running away or shooting back, thats murder
Reminds me of a story from a couple years back or so. Kid walked into a restaraunt, pulled a gun and started robbing people. A man seated at a table(not a cop), pulled his own gun and shot the robber dead. When the man retrieved the robber's gun, he discovered the gun was fake. He angrily threw the gun away, retrieved and returned to the customers the money the robber had taken, and then left. Police found him later and, tmk, he was never charged.
This is why I may prefer to give security guards rubber bullets to use except for when in a high threat danger level zone or area or when such a thing is expected to likely happen at medium chance or above.
And this is just only a senario of when I could be the owner of a public place or something and could need security guards.
The dumbest writing and worst acting
And now the security guard gets charged for not letting the actual police do their job
Wanna be cop is gonna go to actual prison.

I hope the guard goes to jail, with ALOT of people that hates the law😈…
Damn he is a pathetic waste of life 🤬
and irl that security guard would be in prison for first degree manslaughter
