I don't like that we think we're the cleverest we've ever been, and because of that we put our mentality onto these old groups of people. I still don't see how these huge stones were moved. I don't think it was done how we think it was. Imagine the numbers of people needed to move one of the stones….did Orkney actually ever that numbers of population?! Did "builders" move about Britain in groups to design and build these circles? Hand stones would need to be of a stronger stone that then thing you're trying to cut!
All the monuments in Kilmartin Glen make up a Starmap when viewed from above

I am loving this presentation! It does make me think, how would we go from hunter gatherer to this era without evidence? How would you go from living in the meso era version of a tent to this kind of engineering? It leaves me wanting more!
@33:09 "Hither though"…?
My DNA is 65% British Isles, and I would love to know–and like to think–if my ancestors helped to build some of these monoliths.
Finally! Live-action Skyrim! I was waiting for Bethesda to port it to history.
Gotta ❤ Tristan.
Being so far north, could they have used freezing, to break open a rock?
Just remember everyone there was no global travel throughout history until columbus "discovered" america. Nevermind how much mounds, burial or ritual look alike. Its all just coincidence
