street taco food is amazing. The best I had was down some grungy alley where they cooked a pig underground overnight. That was amazing and the salsa as well

I remember the national news from indonesia about a street food that was selling very well because they sold very delicious meatballs . After it went viral , the food safety agency arrived and discovered that one of the ingredients they used was wild rat meat that they caught to gain huge profits ๐๐
This is the importance of the food safety agency to prevent things like this from happening

This is herd mentality. While not all street food may be poisonous to you, you shouldn't assume just because others aren't getting sick that you won't. There is established food safety and preparation rules. If people don't follow those and you eat the food don't be surprised that you get sick. But as another commenter said it's More than likely the water or ice you're being served.
Mexico isnt India lol
