Peterson broke from the "company" when he found out they killed Diem… Who was about to sign a peace agreement with the P.L.A.Diem was killed the 2nd month Pererson was in Vietnam….effectively going back on the peace agreement with the P.L.A.( Viet mihn, later Viet cong) . Bill Richardson ( former senator) was tasked with eliminating him
11:56 flamboyant General Cao Ky… Who ended up moving to America after the war…. a long time CIA stooge who helped eliminate Diem
Good one.
Really positive, kind, and nice comment. 🇺🇸
Fuck The Company?!!!
Total gentlemen badass.
Apocalypse Now was based on Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness. Peterson's story is impressive, but it doesn't really track with Kurtz in the movie.
Here is another model for him.

It's pronounced MAHN tuhn yards.
It derives from the French influence in Indochina and is pronounced the same way in British and American English.
So many mispronunciations.
So you got your information from reading instead of being.
superb reporting sir. Colonel Peterson fell in love with the tribes he was training and no doubt they should ask for their independence being discriminated "montangards". I am embarrassed as an American the CIA fired this freedom fighter. My respect sir to you excellent reporting.
