90s shades were better. That bronzed coin was so nice and I loved the gun metal look!
As someone who isn’t cool toned I’m glad we finally have the option. I mean seriously, going to Sephora and being told okay here is maybe two shades that match for about 13 years has sucked. And btw neither truly matched until fenty. It’s nice that companies are giving other skin tones options now considering makeup has catered to cool tones since the beginning; but I get it it’s hard now for yall. I wish companies would cater to all but they just go with trends, and since low rise jeans are back I’m guessing your skin tone will once again own the market soon.
I feel like this has to do with a big wave of intense tanning culture in the 2000s and 2010s where the demographic that companies catered to (white people) were big into tropical vibes, warm tones and tanning themselves orange

I think it’s because warmer tones on the lips give the appearance of an even skin tone on the rest of the face

I do think it’s a little funny she is complaining about orange makeup when her tanner on her hands is very orange lol
i'm a really pale cool tone (ivory), and it's SO hard to find foundation and concealer that's in budget (under 30$ each)
