American drinking games are pool and darts. And maybe some poker.
My friend who taught English IN Japan said that whenever he said anything a little surprising the entire class would turn into a confused Scooby Doo
"EEEEHHHHHHHGGGGGGG????????"
Why don't u talk a pilipino !?
The funny thing, or rather ironic thing about all these discussions is that Filipinos only consider themselves ''Asians'' out of an astute stance pertaining to the country's geographical location, the islands being located within SEA. But heart, mind and soul, we are pacific islanders with genetic admixtures of Indian, Bugis (Java), Chinese (mostly Southern Chinese such as Fookien), Japanese, other SEA nationalities, and I would even add ''Jomong'' ancestry (possibly), since we also have Austronesian ancestry linked to those in Taiwan. But then the late 16th century Spanish (or specifically Castilian) invasion/colonization changed and modified our culture tremendously to lean a bit more to the Hispanic-European side of things albeit, via Mexico (turning our 18th century ancestors to the ''Chicanos of Asia'').
Then subsequently ending with a more American outlook because of the American colonization (officially making the archipelago an American Commonwealth) which happened for more than half of the 20th century.
Usually it is said, the last ''memory'' is what remains in everyone's brain, and that's why Filipinos then and now, are more strongly inclined to migrate to America as their primary choice to resettle, because America had a good system of governance that they applied to the Commonwealth citizens after all, despite the early violent history between the two nations, and add to that the violent anti-immigrant sentiments of White Americans towards most Asians and generally, just any outsider including the Filipino plantation workers outsourced and hired by the US from the Philippines from the 1920s to the 40s. But unlike other ethnicities and creed, our people assimilated, whether by choice or otherwise.
I personally grew up in the Manila area during the 60s, and never migrated elsewhere. And I witnessed the influx of many cultures brought to light via Television, influencing and shaping what is now considered ''Filipino Culture''. We are not an enigma. But calling ourselves ''Asians'', that is the enigma. I'd rather just be called … ''Filipino''.
Thanks for bearing with me.

Korean to outsider sounds like:
First person: "Something something something mida"
Other person "naaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. naaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy."
i once had a friend send me a pic of some random guy from like a magazine or stock-photo and they said that he looked a lot like me and i hated it because he did but was even uglier than me so it made me dislike admitting that he did look like me. i got over it and lived in reality but i understand why some of these girls might not like the seemingly ugly versions of their languages done as a stereotype but i still thought they were pretty accurate in depicting them as ugly generalizations all the same. also the American doesn't seem to know much about America.
I speak English as my first language, my second language is Mandarin, and my third language is Mongolian
Here in the Philippines, we do drink everything with ice, just like Vietnam.
The reason behind adding ice into it are,
1. Because of the weather is tropical & hot.
2. for the beer, the strong kick will be a little lessen because of mixture of water… for other drinks, its so refreshing drinking icy cold refreshment. ☺️
