Having a rental is a nightmare
I have decided not to rent my house. I have seen how renters can leave your property. And then there are squatters. It sounds like a big, expensive headache to me.

"Make the renters pay the mortgage" so your doing fuck all living off others, renting isnt supposed to be a income, its not supposed to pay off the mortgage, your supposed to own the property entirely before renting it so that you can make money on it and they arent paying your mortgage, if the state would just claim these houses they could pay the same amount and OWN THE HOUSE
I wish you couldn’t even be allowed to rent something that has a mortgage left on it. Plus not everyone should be allowed to be landlords. I don’t mean this wrong but unless the house means a lot to you then keep it and live in it and pay for it if not then sell. It would help the economy and the people who are looking for homes. People thinking renting is passive income is the reason why a 2 bedroom is $1200 a month right now.
