I went thru the island and am a marine it's like this every day for 13 weeks and btw it gets harder when you're in the fleet kid gloves are off
US Marine here. 2002-2006. I can confirm that real recruit training is much more intense. More in your face. Much louder. Significantly more overall intensity. Along with that, it’s actually even more funny day to day. You learn to live with and laugh at the torture lol. Most things are hell or hilarious. Makes you cherish the quiet moments. Those who served know exactly what I mean 🤣
Oh, and except when you’re in the field training, you DON’T sleep with your rifle. At least when I was in.
No it wasn’t a comedy when I watch it when I was young know I’m older smoking a blunt and drinking a beer it’s funny as hell
these reactions show how little civilians know about war and what it takes to build a superior fighting force. its these types of soft people who at one point weakened the training of soldiers and sissified our military… bring back this type of basic training….
