8:28 You misunderstood. These tribals have their own gods as well. The song starts by the consecration of their deities (they bring their gods / deities) & install them in the temple premises. Those gods are primarily worshipped by them only.. Why didn't you ask the same question in that earlier?? Why??
Temples' rituals are far more sacrosanct that you could imagine.. The temple aagamam is very very strict, that not anyone can enter the sanctum sanctorium! This ain't coz of caste – meaning not all bramins themselves are allowed to take part in the main deity installation, nor getting into the 'garbha graham' (The inner most place, where God is installed).
Not anything & everything is bad.. They are there for various reasons. Discrimination is bad, I agree but having differences & having respective duties are essential for harmonious wellbeing of nature's natural order..
