Celebrities are reacting to the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Kirk, a conservative activist and co-founder of Turning Point USA, was fatally shot at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10 while on Turning Point USA’s “American Comeback” tour. President Donald Trump announced the 31-year-old’s death in a Truth Social post, writing in part, “He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us.” Meghan McCain took to X shortly after writing, “Rest in peace Charlie Kirk. The mark you have made on the world will forever be a blessing and memory. We pray for your eternal rest with our Lord. May God bless your family always and be with your children and wife Erika.” Jimmy Kimmel also spoke out on social media, saying, “Instead of the angry finger-pointing, can we just for one day agree that it is horrible and monstrous to shoot another human? On behalf of my family, we send love to the Kirks and to all the children, parents, and innocents who fall victim to senseless gun violence.”
