ये बताना ज़रूरी है कि माउंट एवरेस्ट सिर्फ नेपाल में नहीं है। ये नेपाल और चीन के तिब्बत स्वायत्त क्षेत्र की सीमा पर स्थित है। इसका शिखर इन दोनों देशों में बँटा हुआ है।
तिब्बत, अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर चीन का ही हिस्सा माना जाता है, इसीलिए माउंट एवरेस्ट के बारे में चीन का नाम लेना पूरी तरह सही है। माउंट एवरेस्ट पर नेपाल की तरफ से चढ़ाई के लिए साउथ बेस कैंप है और चीन (तिब्बत) की तरफ से चढ़ाई के लिए नॉर्थ बेस कैंप। उम्मीद है कि अब आप भी इससे सहमत होंगे। हमसे जुड़े रहने के लिए, एक बार फिर से – धन्यवाद 🙏
