We are still a long way before AI replaces programmers. It is because only programmer can use AI to get the job done really. An average Joe won't be maintaining facebook codebase and building new features from scratch using AI.

99IQ. I am tired of this brainlack analogy with previous inventions. Why can't I compare AI to step from monkeys to humans then? Yeah, we replaced them. Why are all of you, copers, so sure, that if something does not happen for all the history, it won't ever happen? Why?
Car can do all the things? Car is replacement only for horse, not for everything, like AGI tends to be. I am leading to the point, that this time situation gives us all the reasons and signs that something bad is more probable than ever to happen and you, copers, still sing your aNaLoGiEs songs.
