I once read a c-novel (forgot the name already, to many books), there is this scene, time in ancient China, during floods season, everyone from the place effected by flood run away to another place, and that place became full of refugees and not enough food. The poor people sell their body part to the rich to live. They actually cut some of their body part (the legs, arms) while awake. That's traumatizing 🗿🗿
How did you know that the girl was captured? It was a common practice back then to sacrifice members of one's own family to the gods. Even during the Zhou dynasty, that practice didn't die out.
Even though Zhou Dynasty finally banned sacrifice ritual for good. And yet they didn't banned the worst of the worst ritual killing or buried alive all family the members when a house leader patriarch died in order to follow the leader into afterlife so he/she will not lonely which is to be like "What's the point having a children for inheritance with only end up burying together alive when you died" Another high level of ritual stupidity despite having one of the best enlightenment era 🤦🤦
Nice video. I remember the head hunters from Africa did just that. Nothing goes to waste. There are more if we take the time to ask our search engine. I just remember about the witch hunt and burning them in Europe. Hmm Crispy pork.
