I used to train at a small ring. Sadly, they couldn’t have a hockey team and I had to switch to a bigger ring. Today is my training number 4, everyone was making me feel like I didn’t belong there. My friend group in team was falling apart, and all I had left was my friend Cami. But she was accepted, Im not. I really think of quitting, honestly, I still do, but I won’t until I give everything left of me.

The game never bothered me, not the cost, the travel time, the hunger, it is all worth it ….
The only obstacles were…. a bully coach, racist skaters, a rink that cares more about money than devoted s K aters, a racist/ sex xist owner of a suburbsn rink, a coach's " boymom" who still interferes with my training….
Still, i DO NOT quit.
I find new classes, new teachers, more rinks( never leaving ANY because of bullies!!!!!), new skills, i am 50 years old, i can play, on ice, and rollerhockey, figure skater for 11 years, still, now learning speedskating too, favorite is ice hockey. I can Zorro, Michigan, deke, can skate and shoot better every day….and this is coming straight from work( 12 hr + , nightshift, I'm an RN, hospice, for 18 years so far, no car, single, healthy, lean……
I. WILL. NEVER. QUIT.
