That looks like the best pumpkin pie ever.
I've searched high and low here in Switzerland for an equivalent to Libby's and found (in a glass jar) pumpkin purée, I haven't tried it yet but looking forward to giving it a go very soon!
Found the pumpkin purée at Coop in Luzern.
Love watching you bake. I learned to par bake a few years back. This was something nobody showed me & I’ve been baking over 60 years. Been thru 4 cooking schools. This year I’m trying a baking pumpkin cut & rolled in sugar & placed in a strainer to remove liquid.
❤
Funny, whenever I make my own pumpkin puree, I have to drain it, or the pie is too soggy. If you're using canned pumpkin, you might cook it in a pot for a minute to drive off that tinny taste.
You are so enjoyable to watch cook and bake and everything you make always looks so delicious!
I just taught my friend how to make pumpkin pie but she bought pie crusts from the store. The filling was amazing but I was missing the home made crusts I usually make. It's so worth it to make the crust yourself.
Preppy Kitchen is consistently the only channel I've found that doesn't use too much sugar. John has great taste!
Sweet little taster:-)
Wow John this looks amazing!!! And so simple! I love your content and I definitely will be making this!!!
