Her parents, retired Filipino TV host Kuya Kim Atienza and fitness guru Felicia Atienza, revealed the loss Friday on Instagram. Emman built her following on TikTok and Instagram by sharing candid lifestyle content about beauty, travel, fitness and mental health.

I’ve struggled with mental health my entire life and I perk up everytime someone speaks about it, it seems to be such a taboo subject but I’ve attributed it to just genetically being wired the way I am, feeling sensitive, conscientious and guilty about things; getting away from people who trigger it seems to help, at times I have even had to get away from my own family. You need to lessen your circle and keep only the things that bring you peace.
