What a pity that germany did not stay as multiple micro states. This would have saved the first WW, the second WW, the break up of yougoslavia, the ukraine war, etc. Germany is simply to powerful at the center of europe since 843 and the treaty of verdun.

EUROPA UNIVERSALIS V spells Kiev as Kyiv. I will change the traditional English spelling of Kiev to Kyiv when the pushers (the Western progressives) spell Ukraine as Ukraina, or Athens as Athina, or Spain as Espana, or Germany as Deutchland. This spelling change to Kyiv from Kiev is purely a political one to distance the Ukrainians from the Russian influence, but even the Russian language does not spell Kiev as Kiev, the Russians have a different alphabet.
This is hard to keep track of. I lived in Germany and have visited a lot of these places but they change since the Thirty Years War.
One act can send a continent into war like the assignation of Archduke Ferdinand in 1914. I understand one of the conspirators said, "Sorry, we didn't expect everybody to get this upset."
