I hate basing, so my Sci Fi stuff is always just sand and PVA, grey with a white drybrush, strong tone over top and base rim black. I like it because it makes the bases very neutral, meaning they fit on any terrain. My fantasy stuff is sand and PVA, brown craft paint, drybrush an olive green and then some static grass tufts. Jay's bases are incredible but no way am I spending that much time on the base!
Anyone else free base dried super glued gets you higher than just sniffing 😂
