Another example is the tu104 pushkin crash
Basicly the entire soviet high command of the eastern naval forces died becose of 2 rolls of printing paper
Listening to AM radio and CB radio we used to hear many of these fields.
Wind up 30 + ft of 000 welding cable into a about an 24 inch circle then dead short ends on a 1200 amp battery. 😅 It'll jump high enough to scare anybody. It makes a great Halloween snake laying there on the porch between the noise and the movement.
"Physics doesn't care about fancy." Awesome!
And thats why i always tell people to not cram a bunch of wires together or when you have one of those extension cables on a catrol fully unroll it don't leave it spooled up that wire gone melt if you put some power true it
For the Love of All That's holy do not put a wire across a car battery. You have a nice current limited power supply there, LOL
There is absolutely NO way I'm putting that kind of gear next to my artillery compass!!! That thing's a seriously accurate piece of equipment. You don't want it to be a few degrees off!😅
curiosity killed a cat actually
i did this experiment. In 1967. it worked then, and it works now. But watch out for your wire melting if you have much of a battery…
Exactly why they tell you to uncoil your welding leads. Sometimes I don't or I forget to and they are supple enough you can see them jump and become attracted to the welding cart.
